Summer Bible Study
Submitted by Bob Frazier
The Summer Bible Study ended on September 29th.
This activity was a first for Lake Highlander. We always had
Winter Bible Study but as far as I know this was the first time
we met together for Summer Bible Study. We had between 6
and 10 people meet every Tuesday in the Library at 9:30 AM.
The format was a little different than in the winter. Tom
Chapman was our leader. He along with his guitar led us in
some hymn singing. Jack, a friend of Tom also sang solos.
People pick out topics they wanted to discus, such as:
Creation vs Evolution or You reap what you sow.
We took a couple of weeks off and started the Winter Bible
Study on October 13th with Don Jones as our leader. Here
is a picture of some of the folks attending the Summer Bible
Study.
